I went on a short 3 mile hike yesterday to Lava Lake in the Spanish Peaks near Bozeman, MT and took some lovely pictures. It was a gorgeous day for a hike! The temperature was cool and hardly anyone else was on the trail. The trail itself was pretty easy, although it is all uphill to Lava Lake, with about 1200 ft elevation gain.
